Great Ocean road at sunset - Giclée prints (high quaility digital print onto archival art paper)
by Matthew broughton
This painting is part of a series on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia.
My painting is influenced by Mid-Century Modernism and the work of Paul Klee.
My work explores the simplification and interpretation of various forms predominately being the natural environment. With an emphasis on colour, pattern and light the painted works explore the notion of a fusion between representation and abstraction.
